·Alex
spent 7 days in South Africa with Numzaan Safaris. While there
he harvested a 24" Impala, a civet cat, a 50" Kudu and what Alex
called a "Monster Warthog". In preparation for this trip some of
the funding provided clothing along with hotel accommodations, food
and miscellaneous items that was needed during the hunts.
Conservation/Education:
During his stay in South Africa, Alex learned the much different
culture and way of life of the native African people. He learned
the importance of conservation from, the PH's as well as the landowners
who depend on these animals as their livelihood. He impressed the
PH's so much they invited him back next summer to assist them with
other clients.
Humanitarian:
This has been yet another great opportunity given to a youth of
SCI's future. Alex will never forget this opportunity he was given
and will bring the cultural experience home to his friends and family
to share. He will always be a part of SCI.
·The name of the organization that received this

Safari Chapter President, Scott Bagi, is responsible for putting
this event together. He organized all of the contributions made
by Safari club and the local chapters. He also accompanied Alex
and his Grandmother on the trip. Scott recorded most of the experience
on video and made sure Alex's dream was fulfilled.
