Great weather, Great fun...2007

This Summertime event has been an enriching and wonderful family time for many years now. Held at a remote and enchanting location donated by one of Safari Clubs premier members, the Safari Club Picnic is a day of fun for the entire family!

Fill your stomach with and endless supply of burgers, hot dogs, chips, pop and corn on the cob! The eating here is only secondary to the great sport of fishing.

With no less than three ponds to choose from, the fishing here is nothing short of great. If lazing about in the sun catching fish sounds good to you then imagine how much fun it is for the kids! Everything from sunfish and bass to catfish can be found. Catch the largest fish of the day (youth only) and get it mounted FREE.

Not up for fishing? Try your kids hands at other outdoor sports as our skilled instructors expose youth to handgun safety and wet their appetite for more, setting the framework for Coonskin Cap Brigade and a lifelong love of the sport.

Finish the day with trophies. No age is left out! Youth are divided into groups by age and win trophies among the days events.

New experiences are the goals of the day. Bringing new families and kids into the sportsmen fold, shotgun instructors work with the youth teaching basic skills and gun safety.

Even archery is brought to the youth. Kids as little as 2 years old can enjoy this sport. Try, try, and try again is the motto here!
